CAST 1

CRASR and the Mayborn Museum staff visited with over 400 K-12 Texas Science Educators who stopped by our booth on Nov 11-13 in Fort Worth at the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST) hosted by the Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT). Visitors to the booth learned about all the cool things going on at the Museum, engaged in a hands-on Float Like a Fish Challenge and picked up lots of great Baylor swag! CRASR outreach coordinator Melissa Mullins also presented as part of two Informal Science Education Association sessions with staff from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Texas Forest Service, Texas Forestry Association, Texas Children in Nature Network, and Education Service Center Region 12 where she highlighted the importance of water education for all learners.
