We offer hands-on standards-based water education professional development for educators.  Our workshops include offerings designed for classroom teachers, informal science educators, girl scout and boy scout leaders and staff, summer camp educators, and more.

CRASR maintains active participation in the Texas Environmental Education Advisory Committee and as an accredited institution of higher education we are also a pre-approved CPE provider in Texas and provide professional development credits for Texas educators.

Project WET (Water Education Today)

CRASR is a Texas host institution for Project WET.  We regularly offer educator workshops to certify educators in the award-winning Guide 2.0, Climate Water and Resilience educator guides, and others.  Educator workshops can also be tailored to the needs of a specific group or around a specific topic.

Project WET Sampler Workshop

Experience some of Project WET's most popular Guide 2.0 activities and receive a free sampler guide.  Saturday March 26th from 10 am to 12 noon at the Mayborn Museum in Waco, TX. Workshop is open to all educators, and is free, but registration is required through Texas Children and Nature Network.

Matagorda Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET)

CRASR offers grant-funded programs when available to educators centered around various topics.  Past projects have included Marsh Madness, Sustainability in the Swamp, Green Chemistry, and Aquaculture Adventure. Currently we are partnering with the Matagorda Bay Foundation recruiting teachers to the Matagorda Bay Watershed Education and Training program, part of NOAA’s B-WET program. Apply Today!
